“Let’s celebrate Danube Day without garbage”.
As everyone knows, the Danube is the second largest river in Europe. Unfortunately, every State washed by the Danube to some extent use this water recourse as dumping place. Garbage and other contaminant drift to so-called ‘null kilometer’ of the Danube Delta. The Danube Delta, where the river becomes the sea, is the natural river-reserve place, but it gradually converted into dumping place for the whole Europe.
To the Danube’s Day WWF-Ukraine and ‘Panda Shipping’ as well as schoolchildren 11 ‘T’ class of Vilkovo-town lyceum decided to make a present to the Danube and to neutralize deplorable results of uncontrolled and disordered actions of Danube habitants to surrounding environment.
